On June 18 Emily and Monica joined the Osterbauer Women on a Betsy-Tacy Pilgrimage to Mankato, MN. The Girls have been reading the Betsy-Tacy books for as long as I can remember. The author of the books, Maud Hart-Lovelace grew-up in Mankato, MN, and she based her series of books around this town she called "Deep Valley".
The Betsy-Tacy Society has restored Betsy and Tacy's houses.
